Soon all our decorating, shopping, stressing, baking, and cooking will come to an end as we sit around the table with our family enjoying each others company. This is how I love to spend my Christmas, surrounded by my family. This year my family and I will be celebrating our Christmas dinner on Christmas day. My family will get up as early as the children decide to get up ,which can often be about 6am, and check out what Santa has left us.
We will spend the next hours watching the children play with their toys (ok my daughter, my boys no longer get toys), eat a little breakfast, and then probably take a nap! I always like to make one of my favorite breakfast snacks around the holidays.

I also love to make my Grandmother’s Strawberry Bread. Ummm it seems like many of my favorite things is food. My favorite breakfast, memories of my grandmother, and our Christmas dinner (which is Prime Rib my hubby’s favorite). Food definitely plays a part in most gatherings from appetizers to the main dishes. Since we will be hosting Christmas dinner at our house Honey will help me set the table. We are branching out this year from our traditional red to gold. Hopefully it will turn out nice.
Once we’ve eaten dinner and settled in to chat and talk our last dish of the night is dessert. Everyone’s favorite meal. Ok I take that back my husband just loves Christmas in general from the breakfast to the dessert. We often have assortments of pies or other goodies but it always goes well with a cup of coffee or cocoa. Even better is flavoring your coffee with some of the amazing flavors from International Delight . The best thing to do is to set up a creamer bar so your guest can pick their own flavor.
